My name is Joe Matranga and as your City Councilman it has been my great honor to keep the concerns of our citizens at the forefront and work to maintain our small town community feeling in the face of an ever-changing landscape.
This May, I hope you'll join me and vote to re-elect 'MATRANGA' for Friendswood City Council.
SAFETY
Maintaining our status as one of the "Safest Cities in America" is paramount in the work we do in our community. From supporting our valued emergency services and first responders, to continuing to be a champion for safe sidewalk access for our children, I'm here to work for all of our citizens.
COMMUNITY
Friendswood is a special place to live, work and grow. We must work to manage its growth to remain a family-focused community. I believe we should be fiscally responsible, planning not just for today, but also for tomorrow for those that come after us. Including efforts to improve historic tree preservation, pushing to remove visual clutter along our roadways, and planning for how to best use our open spaces, I believe that by working together we find the best solutions to strengthen and improve our community.
FAMILY
I grew up here, went to school here, and returned with my wife to raise our family. Our schools are second to none and I will continue to support FISD and CCISD to maintain that excellence.
By working together, we can enhance this great city we all call home!
